Mumbai: Movie goers were shocked when they realised the movie Newton was based on a government employee and not on Sir Isaac Newton.
Speaking to The Satire Times, an avid movie goer said “I expected the film to be based on Sir Isaac Newton. I wanted to see the apple fall on his head but instead saw a government employee run for the elections. The film industry is corrupt and that they are trying to deceive us by using fake names. This is not acceptable and we do not want fake films. The government should take action on such films.”
There were several protests by government employees for defamation and hurting the sentiments of government employees. The employees at an office in Mumbai have gone on a strike to protest against the film.
The Government has asked for a review of the film.
